Male Icon Ghana Pageant is a male intellectual event with the aim of selecting an iconic gentleman to serve as a youth ambassador and promote healthy competitions.
It was launched in May 2011,and this is the 3rd event so far.
Previous years saw successful events with Elorm Anyadi and Thomas Andoh emerging as winners. Ten young men have made the cut to compete for this year's pageant. The winner of this year's competition will represent Ghana at The Mr. ECOWAS pageant in Lagos, Nigeria and Mr. Africa International Pageant in London, UK.
The finals is set to be held on the 3rd November at the National Theatre.
Among this year's contestants are two male models Delali Bediako and Henry Samuel Otu.
DELALI BEDIAKO
He's a 21 year old model and a third year student of Regional Maritime University, studying BSc Ports and Shipping Administration. He aspires to be a youth activist and is a philanthropist.
He's one of freshest faces in the modeling industry and has potential to become one of the best male models Ghana can boast of. We wish him all the best in this competition and future prospects. Congratulations Dela,
HENRY SAMUEL OTU
Henry is a 26 year old model and studied Network Engineering at NIIT Ghana. He's the General Manager and head of marketing at Lilly Drops Water house. He's very passionate about modeling, and aspires to be a business mogul. We love his enthusiasm and he's a perfect gentleman.
