This year is going to be fab. Our first feature is 14 year old Rhesa Owusu, a British/Ghanaian model and student. With a mind of her own from a tender stage of 10, she started customizing clothes for her mum and younger sister.
Modeling and designing are two of her passions, and in her short time in the modeling industry she has graced several runway shows including London Fashion week 2013 and the Ghana Fashion UK 2013.
At such a young age her professionalism and versatility is evident in her runway and print work.
She's currently competing in the first ever Diva Face International for women of colour 2014, a competition that seeks to find a model with the perfect face and personality to represent the woman of colour in all area especially intellect and confidence.

Laurie's Blog(LB) had a chit chat with this intelligent and talented teenager. Read below;
LB: How has modeling been for you so far?
RHESA:. "It's being fun fun fun. I've met lots of people, l love the dressing up and my confidence has really improved. It's more tiring for my mum, she drives me everywhere."
LB: Who is your favourite model of all time?
RHESA: " I don't have a favourite model of all time yet, but am inspired by my favourite models at the moment, jourdan Dunn, Chanel Iman and Alek Wek".
LB:Your favourite make up brand?
RHESA: " I don't wear a lot of make up outside of modeling, but i like Mac abd Maybelline. can't go wrong with vaseline on the lips."
LB: Which is more fun,Photoshoot or runway?
RHESA: " Photoshoots and runway lets me interpret the designers ideas in different ways so they are both fun to do. But l love working the runway.It was very scary in the beginning, l get a little more confident with each show. I practice my walk at home too so before l go on the runway, I tell myself to have fun."
LB: What do you do for fun?
RHESA: "Hanging out with my friends shopping in Camden Market or Brick Lane is always so much fun. I also love baking with my mum and sister."
