MY CURRENT OBSESSION: LOVE ANKARA FLATS

Hello Loves, I hope May did not take you by surprise as it did me. We are going to be alright nonetheless :-).

Everyone who knows me, knows I love sneakers (Tomboy problems lol) and the only thing I fantasize about all year would be swimwear (a contradiction maybe).

Now let's talk about my current obsession, shall we?
I'm not a ballerina kind of girl but Natives by Love Ankara got me all excited about flats, from their Eco-friendly and stylish packaging to how easy it is to put your flats in your purse or clutch.

I love that the flats are so lightweight and comfortable, and they sure flatter my feet.
After several washes, the print does not fade and the packaging makes it ideal as a gift.

A worthy obsession if you asked me, I "heart" my flats and I "heart" the colour.

The Native flats are made from premium leather and authentic limited edition African prints( Woodin and GTP), they are foldable and machine and hand washable. The in-soles are soft and prioritize comfort. Natives are hand-made in Ghana and available in sizes 38 to 44, delivery available both in Ghana and across the world on order and pre-order.

A Little information about the Love Ankara Brand;

MY FUSION DE WOODIN ROMPER

October was a really interesting month and a very busy one for Ghana fashion and African fashion in general as we had one fashion week after the other, and some happening at the same time.
Well! Lets leave that for another day.

I stepped out in confidence last weekend dressed in this versatile Woodin Romper from their Fusion Collection.
Rompers are generally worn as casuals, but I wore it to a corporate event and felt right at home, thanks to the style and the length of the shorts.

And again I got away with minimal styling as the bold and beautiful print gave me little work to do (I am not complaining).

My favourite thing about this outfit will have to be the fabric, its ethnic yet modern look.

Woodin fabrics are not only a modern interpretation of African culture and arts but also reflect a modern cosmopolitan lifestyle; a perfect bridge between the young and the old.

Walk into any Woodin retail store closest to you (NB Woodin has retail shops in over 8 African countries), get your ready-to-wear outfits for that special occasion or even for work, and shop in comfort and style.

Still thinking of other places I'm going to rock this outfit to :-)
Tag me in your fusion outfits when you post them.....xxx

BOLD PASTEL SS15 LOOKBOOK BY NUNA COUTURE

Bold Pastel is a new collection recently outdoored by Ghanaian designer Nuna Nunoo of Nuna Couture.
The lookbook is chic, colourful and stylish.

“Think, Spark, Stunning it’s summer again and “Nuna Couture” presents “BOLD PASTEL” a collection inspired by the colourful architectures in Italy “Cinque Terra” and “Procida”, in Canada “Victoria British Columbia” and Brazil “Pelourinho”.

These buildings gave us a dazzling array of colours palette red, blue, black, white, butter and shapes.

Our unique tailored look was achieved with cotton spandex of different textures and weights with a starting fabric that speaks for its self. The contemporary collection “BOLD PASTEL” still has a characteristic of a “Nuna Couture” piece of item, very fresh, essential with a good balance of graphic elements and colours for today’s woman.”
