I LOVE ME SOME GHANA

It's a normal working Thursday in Ghana, well not exactly normal but it is a working day.
Our streets are deserted,no human and vehicular traffic. where's everybody?
Well yeah! The supreme court Verdict.
Pressure was mounting.
The people are worried.
What will happen in Ghana today?
What will be the Verdict?
Will everyone accept the ruling?
No matter what anyone says, there was a bit of tension in most places.
But as usual Ghana set the example for Africa and the world.
We are a peace loving people.
We prayed to God for peace and He gave us just that.
A few minutes after 1pm GMT, the judge declared his verdict ,that the case had been dismissed,in a 3 minute hearing.
Now that was fast.
Dead Silence in the country!for a few seconds lol.
No one expected it to be that quick.
This is what the flag-bearer of the opposition party had this to say;
"In as much I disagree with the judges, I accept the verdict
... I will not file for a review
... I am saddened by the decision of the Supreme court
... The battle continues to be the Lord's" - Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo accepting defeat in the Election Petition which challenged John Dramani Mahama as President of Ghana.
A true statesman, i must admit.
so Yeah my people prefer FUFU over WAR

A victory for Ghana, a true black star.
I'm  a Ghanaian and proud.
In other matters ,i'm off to do some things I've been procrastinating on for a while now, and more blog posts now with or without a laptop.

Enjoy our beautiful anthem
God bless our home land Ghana....
